The Villa Complex Předboj

The property is situated in Predboj about 10km far from Prague. The area consists of 17 familyhouses in 3 different sizes. Sophisticated landscaping is proposed. Broedleaved trees on the south give shadow in sommertime and allow the sun to reach the glass facade in winter. Evergreens protects the north facade from the wind. Main used materials are wood, steel, glass and bricks. Classical passive principles are used- zoning, maximum glass on south facade and minimum in the north, advanced heating and cooling systems.

Sustainability Criteria

Energy concept:

- The energy demand of the building is classified according to Decree No. 148/2007 Coll.in B category.. The energy demand of the object C is 56kWh/m2/year.

Building design:

- Compact volume of the houses. Optimized glass factor to use optimum solar energy in winter. Sun protection to avoid overheating of the interior in sommer

Rating cooling:

- Heating and cooling provided by heatpump air-water

Lighting:

- The buildings are not equiped by lighting kontrol system.

Reneweble energy and the energy recovery on site:

- Solar panels and heat recovery units are optional.
