| The theme of the 2012 Prime Property Award is “Recognising Leadership in Sustainability”. As mentioned, the aim is to find exemplary property investment projects in Europe that combine ecological and socio-cultural sustainability with commercial success. The competition’s international jury believes that these three sustainability criteria are fundamental to the future of the real estate sector, because they take aspects such as responsible use of natural resources into account, as well as higher user expectations regarding comfort and well-being, along with economic factors such as changes in property value and occupancy rates. More information about the competition is available online. |
