CANDIDACY FOR CZGBC BOARD MEMBERSHIP

Dear Members,

The Annual General Meeting of the Czech Green Building Council will take place on Tuesday, November 19, at 4:00 PM at Clam-Gallas Palace, Husova 158/20, Prague 1.

We invite all members who are interested in influencing the future direction and further development of the Czech Green Building Council to run for a seat on the Council's Board.

Serving as a Board Member is an honorary position, and the term lasts for two years. The Board meets every three to four months, and members are expected to dedicate about half a day to one day per month to the Council’s activities and development. Candidates must be employees of a member company of the Council.

Main responsibilities of Board Members:

• Propose new activities/initiatives that will contribute to the further development of the Council and improve services for members
• Provide expert support to the executive team on discussed topics
• Monitor the achievement of strategic goals and financial results
• Represent the Council at selected events organized by the Council and other institutions
• Encourage potential members to join the Council

Candidates should have experience in the sustainable building industry and the business sector, possess good strategic thinking, and be results-oriented.

If you are interested in running for a seat on the Board of the Czech Green Building Council, please complete the nomination form and submit it no later than October 31, 2024.

Profiles of all candidates will be provided to members before the AGM, and candidates will present themselves in person on the day of the event. Information regarding the election process will be provided upon request. Candidates will also have the opportunity to attend all Council events held before the AGM and introduce themselves to participants at those events.
