After a long effort by the working group at the Ministry of Industry and Trade, to which the members of the Council also contributed through the Chance for Buildings, a new decree on the energy performance of buildings was finally approved under number 264/2020 Coll.
The decree includes methodological adjustments and clarifications of energy performance calculations, assessment of technical, economic and ecological feasibility of alternative energy supply systems and recommended measures, but also modifies the appearance of the energy performance certificate in order to clarify the results.
The new decree with a new energy performance certificate for the building corresponds to the current transposed European EPBD directive on the energy performance of buildings. The decree takes effect on 1 September 2020.
