Webinar: Level(s) European framework for sustainable buildings

  • Online via ZOOM

  • Mar 9, 2021 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM

Level(s) is a new European approach to assess and report on the sustainability performance of buildings, throughout the full life cycle of buildings. Using existing standards, the Level(s) framework with its indicators provides a common language for building sustainability, which can be used directly on building projects and portfolios, or as a basis for other initiatives, policies, schemes and actions, to include life cycle thinking and circularity. Level (s) help to encourage reflection on the entire life cycle of buildings and provide a comprehensive approach to measuring and supporting improvement from the design phase to the end of a building's life.

Level (s) are designed for residential and office buildings and freely available to everyone.

European experts will introduce the new European framework:

  • Josefina Lindblom, Policy Officer, DG Environment, European Commission
  • Jean-Pierre Pigeolet, Knauf Insulation, Products & Buildings Sustainability Manager
  • Judit Kimpian, Architects Council of Europe, Chair of Sustainability of Architects Council of Europe
  • Andrea Moro, Italian experience of public funding, President of International Initiative for a Sustainable Built Environment Ital

Moderator:

  • Peter Robl, Board member of Slovak Green Building Council
